Can I check my camera and microphone first?
Yes, when you join the live video interview, you'll be taken through a series of steps to set up your camera and microphone to ensure they are working.
This is one reason we recommend showing up about ~10 minutes early. This will give you ample time to verify that your video and audio are working properly before joining the live video interview.
How do I know what the interviewer will ask?
Spark Hire does not know what questions an interviewer will ask during a live video interview.
If you're looking for guidance on what to expect, check any emails or other correspondence you've received from the company you're interviewing with. They may have provided information about the interview format or the topics they plan to discuss.
If you have questions about the interview itself, we recommend contacting the hiring company directly.
Can I use a virtual background?
No, virtual backgrounds are not supported during live video interviews on Spark Hire.
Therefore, we advise that you set yourself up in a quiet, clean, and well-lit space so you're able to present yourself professionally.
