When you've selected a camera to use for a One-Way or Live Video Interview on Spark Hire, but you do not see any video, try these troubleshooting steps:
- Make sure you nothing is covering your camera which would prevent anything from being visible. Some devices have a physical shutter.
- Close other applications which use your camera such as Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet, FaceTime, etc.
- Restart your device.
- Ensure you're using a supported browser and you have the the latest version:
- Check permissions: allow the site to use your camera when prompted by the browser
- Update or reinstall your webcam driver (computers). See your device maker: Logitech, Dell, Lenovo, HP, ASUS, Samsung, Sony.
- Try another camera or switch to a mobile device. On Android, use Chrome; on iOS, use Safari
