When you've selected a microphone to use for a One-Way or Live Video Interview, but it's not picking up any audio or others can't hear you, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Close other apps that could potentially use the microphone such as Zoom, MS Teams, Google Meet FaceTime, music, or recording apps.
  2. Restart your device
  3. Update your browse and ensure you're using a supported one.

  4. Check permissions: allow the site to use your microphone when prompted
  5. Pick the right mic in Settings and speak into it. Watch for the level meter to move
  6. Check system input settings
  7. For external mics, replug firmly or try a different port
  8. Try another mic or use a headset with a built-in mic

Audio cutting in and out:

  • Switch to a different microphone in Settings and test again
  • Unplug and replug external mics to ensure a tight connection
  • Close bandwidth-heavy apps and browser tabs
