If you need more time to submit your references—or your reference request has already expired—you'll need to contact the company that invited you directly.
My reference request has already expired
If your reference request link says it has expired, it means the deadline set by the company has passed.
If you'd still like to submit references, contact the company directly to ask whether they're able to extend the deadline or send you a new request.
I don't think I'll have my references before the deadline
If you know you won't be able to submit your references before the deadline, we recommend contacting the company you're engaged with as soon as possible.
Only the company, not Spark Hire, can decide whether to extend your deadline or provide additional time.
One of my references needs more time
After you submit your references, each reference receives an email invitation asking them to complete a reference survey.
The invitation includes a deadline provided by the organization, but this date isn't strict as it's intended to help the company receive feedback in a timely manner.
Your reference can still submit the survey after that date has passed.
If one of your references lets you know they'll need more time, just let them know they can still complete the survey using the original reference request link.
