Invitations to a one-way video interview on Spark Hire are either sent directly by the company you're interacting with or from Spark Hire.

In either case, you'll see a link to proceed to your one-way video interview on Spark Hire.

Clicking your one-way video interview link will not automatically start your one-way video interview.

You're in total control of when it begins and you can even come back later, as long as you submit before your deadline.

Just know that the one-way video interview link you received is always the fastest way to get to your one-way video interview.

Verify your email address

Depending on how you were sent the one-way video interview link, you may be asked to enter your name and email address and to click Send verification link (the screenshot below is an example).

After clicking Send verification link, an email will be sent to the address you entered. This is to ensure the company you're doing the one-way video interview for has accurate information and you properly receive any relevant notifications.

Send verification link

Please note that in some cases, you won't be asked to verify your email address since it was already verified based on the invitation method used by the company.

My email verification link expired

If your email verification link expired, you can simply click the link and you'll be taken to a page where you can choose to be sent a new one. Please make sure you click the most recent verification link in your email inbox when proceeding.

Getting a message that the "Job is inactive"

If you click your one-way video interview link and receive an error message that the "Job is inactive," this means that the company has turned off access to one-way video interviews for that particular position.

In this case, your best course of action is to contact the company you are trying to do the one-way video interview for and see if they can reactivate the job so you can complete the one-way video interview.

Sometimes, the company doesn't realize that the job was deactivated for whatever reason so don't assume that they don't want you to still complete the one-way video interview.
