Upload a resume

Some organizations using Spark Hire may ask you to upload your resume before beginning a Spark Hire interview or assessment.

If you're prompted to upload your resume, you can do so in one of two ways:

  • Drag and drop your resume into the outlined upload area.
  • Click Select file and choose your resume from your device.

Not every organization using Spark Hire requires candidates to upload a resume. Each organization decides how they structure their  process and what information they ask candidates to provide.

What file type does my resume need to be?

Spark Hire supports the following resume file types, but we highly recommend using a .pdf, .doc, or .docx file.

  • .pdf
  • .doc
  • .docx
  • .png
  • .jpg
  • .jpeg
  • .webp

If your resume is in a different file format, you'll need to save or export it as one of the supported file types before uploading it.

What if my resume fails to upload?

If your resume doesn't upload successfully, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Confirm that your resume is saved in one of the supported file types.
  2. Refresh the page and try uploading the file again.
  3. Restart your device and attempt the upload again.

If you're still unable to upload your resume after trying these steps, contact the Spark Hire support team for further assistance.
