If you received a notification that your one-way video interview was canceled, it doesn't necessarily mean you're no longer being considered for the position.
There are several reasons why a one-way video interview invitation might be canceled. For example, the company may have done so accidentally, to remediate a duplicate invitation, or because they are no longer doing interviews for the position.
Regardless, Spark Hire's advice is to not make assumptions and take the following steps.
What should I do?
If you're unsure whether you're still expected to complete a one-way video interview, contact the company you're interviewing with directly.
Only the hiring company can confirm whether the interview was canceled intentionally, whether a new invitation will be sent, or whether any further action is required on your part.
Spark Hire provides the software platform but does not manage hiring decisions or one-way video interview invitations on behalf of the company.
