This resource answers common questions about completing a Spark Hire Predictive Behavioral Assessment.
The Predictive Behavioral Assessment is a standardized, multiple-choice assessment that is designed to be completed in about 20 minutes. There are no right or wrong answers—simply choose the response that best reflects how you typically think, respond, and interact in a work setting.
What do the answer choices mean?
For each question, you'll be asked to select one of the following responses:
- Accurate
- Moderately Accurate
- Neither Accurate nor Inaccurate
- Moderately Inaccurate
- Inaccurate
Choose the option that best reflects you. Since there are no right or wrong answers, it's best to answer honestly rather than trying to guess what a company may be looking for.
Do I have to finish the Predictive Behavioral Assessment in one sitting?
No. You can leave and return to your assessment at any time using the same assessment link, provided you submit it before the deadline.
Your progress will be saved as you complete the assessment.
Can I see the questions before I start?
No. You'll see each question after you begin the assessment.
The assessment uses a standardized set of questions that is the same for every candidate, regardless of the position you're applying for.
What questions will I be asked?
Spark Hire is unable to provide the assessment questions in advance.
The Predictive Behavioral Assessment contains 118 standardized questions designed to measure a broad range of workplace behaviors and competencies. Every candidate completes the same assessment, regardless of the position or organization.
Although there are 118 questions, the assessment typically takes about 20 minutes to complete because each question is multiple choice.
Can I skip a question?
No. All Predictive Behavioral Assessment questions must be answered before you can submit the assessment.
The one caveat is your assessment may include demographic questions before the assessment begins and those are optional.
Can I change my answers?
Yes. While you're completing the Predictive Behavioral Assessment, you can go back and change your answers before submitting.
Once you submit the assessment, your responses are final and cannot be changed.
Can Spark Hire help me answer the questions?
No. Spark Hire provides the software platform, but cannot help you answer the assessment questions or advise you on how to respond.
Because there are no right or wrong answers, we recommend answering each question honestly based on how you typically think, respond, and interact in a work setting.
